Here's one that has a chance* to be this year's "Call Me Maybe..."

You might not have heard of Bonnie McKee, but you know her work. She's been the writer behind some huge pop hits of the last few years, and now she's getting a push as an artist in her own right. Here's a list of a couple songs she's co-written:

"American Girl" gives me huge Katy Perry vibes, specifically "Teenage Dream." Perfect for Summer, but will pop radio bite? You never really know.
Bonnie released an album, Trouble when she was 14, and since has been focusing on songwriting. The new album has yet to be titled or given a release date. A proper video is expected soon, but in the meantime she happened to get all of her famous friends to make a "Call Me Maybe"-esque viral video for her song. (see below)
